Bio
It was the summer of 1992, Kris Kross ruled the airwaves with "Jump", Marisa Tomei won an oscar for telling everyone what her biological clock sounded like, and a young boy named David Corsaro opened a suitcase in his basement that would change his life forever.
David's father, Louis Corsaro, was a science teacher at the West Milford Township High School. One year, he decided to take a night-school course in magic to help teach his students science lessons. After completing the course, he took all of his props and notes and put them into a suitcase and stored it in his basement.
In 1992, David stumbled across this suitcase and when he opened it and saw the stuff inside, his eyes opened wide. He began studying everything he could relating to the art of magic. He checked out every single magic book at the town library and the school library. He begged his parents to bring him to "Mecca Magic", one of the largest magic stores in New Jersey.
Over the next several years, David would attend the Tannens Magic School as well as several magic conventions in Cape Cod and Washington D.C. He would learn from some of the best in magic and meet all of his idols such as David Copperfield, David Blaine (who was one of David's instructors at the Tannens School), Jeff McBride and many others.
Today, David performs at children's birthday parties, corporate cocktail hours, weddings, and in dozens of restaurants around New York and New Jersey. He currently performs in 2 different off-broadway magic shows in NYC ("Monday Night Magic" and "Magical Nights." He spends several nights a month learning from some of the best magicians in New Jersey like Dennis McSweeney, Will Fern, Joe Reindfleish, and Mark Zacharia to name a few.
David's love of magic and entertaining people drives him each and every day to be the best magician he can be.
